The Coke Studio 2020 kicks in on Friday December 4th like a storm. In the first episode of the track ” Na Tutteya Ve”. The track is reaching to 1.5 million views and 21k like within 24 hours alone on YouTube. The song features Meesha Shafi, Fariha Pervez, Sehar Gul Khan, Sanam Marvi, Wajiha Naqvi, and Zara Madani. The season opener song speaks about the resilience of women, suffering endured by women and the shackles placed on them by society, despite which they rise and stand tall, always.

The show was shortened after major budget cuts because of coronavirus pandemic. All of the rehearsals were done remotely, both singers and musicians were recorded separately due to COVID-19 SOPs. The season is referred as Coke Studio 2020 because of coronavirus pandemic. The series is produced by Rohail Hyatt’s production company Frequency Media and distributed by Coca-Cola Pakistan.There are four episodes in the  season which consist of 12 original, all songs are arranged and produced by Rohail Hyatt.
