Legendry actor Talat Hussain passes away

Legendry actor Talat Hussain breathed his last after a prolonged illness, confirmed Karachi Arts Council President Ahmed Shah on Sunday.
The veteran actor, who was known for his prolific career in television, radio and cinema, has been battling with prolonged illness and undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Born in 1940,
The renowned thespian was born in 1940 and married to professor Rakhshanda Hussain. He was a father of three — two daughters and one son.
Talat Hussain, studied at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He was awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence) in 2021 and Pride of Performance Award in 1982.
Hussain also honoured with the Amanda Award in 2006 for best supporting actor in a Norwegian film “Import Eksport”. He also got the Nigar Award for best supporting actor in film “Miss Bangkok” in 1986.
People associated with the showbiz industry have expressed grief and sorrow over the death of the senior actor.
