Sonia Hussain opens up why she refused film with Emraan Hashmi

Pakistani actress Sonia Hussain has revealed that she was offered a film with famous Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, which she did not accept.
Sonia Hussain appeared as a guest on a web show where she talked about offers to work in films from across the border in India.
The actress said that she had been offered work in many Bollywood films in the past. I was also offered to work with Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi and I also met the team of that film, but during this time the relations between Pakistan and India became strained, the actress said. She continued that at the time she was offered to work with Emraan Hashmi, she was very young and there were pressure on her from family. Besides, my studies were also in progress, therefore, I refused to work in that Bollywood film, says Sonia Hussain.
She further said that she had also been offered to work in a remake of Indian actor Santosh Kumar’s old film and a Bollywood film based on the novel of famous novelist Shakespeare.
