This super star likely to play Jahangir Khan in biopic

Lollywood superstar Fawad Khan is likely to star in the biopic of squash legend Jahangir Khan.

The actor, who is set to make sensational Bollywood return this year, hinted at the project, however, he remained silent about the details.

When asked about his role in Jahangir Khan’s biopic, Fawad replied that he would not confirm anything until a formal contract is signed.

After a brief hiatus, the Pakistan heartthrob is back in the spotlight.

He is currently starring in the series “Barzakh”, which is now being streamed on YouTube.

Earlier, in an interview, squash champion Jahangir Khan expressed delight at the prospect of a biopic being made about him and picked Humayun Saeed as the suitable actor to play him.

“Biopics are very important for inspiration and I think they are very important for our children. We have many sports legends, so I think biopics should even be made for their learning,” Khan explained.

Jahangir Khan is the most dominant player in the history of squash. He won the World Open title six times, and the British Open title 10 times (1982–1991). Khan is widely regarded as the greatest squash player of all time, and one of the greatest sportsmen in Pakistan history.

From 1981 to 1986, Khan was unbeaten and during that time won 555 consecutive matches – the longest winning streak by any athlete in top-level professional sport as recorded by Guinness World Records.
