Saba Faisal says she wasn’t ready to become mother-in-law

Senior actress of Pakistan showbiz industry Saba Faisal has admitted that she was not ready to become a mother-in-law therefore some mistakes were made.

Saba Faisal was a guest on a private TV morning show where she was asked a question about becoming a mother-in-law.

The actress replied that she was very happy for her elder son’s marriage. I made a lot of preparations and I used to think about my own happiness but I did not think about what the person coming to my house would feel. For the first child’s marriage, a mother is always very excited and happy, Saba said.

She further said that no girl knows how to cook before marriage because girls are studying when they get married. My sister-in-law also did not know how to cook. My mother taught her, so I thought it was not a big problem.

The actress said that maybe she was not prepare mentally to be a mother-in-law, so she had a lot of expectations from the daughter-in-law. The environment of the daughter-in-law’s house and the environment of my house was completely different, she added.

She further said that she doesn’t think it was anyone’s fault. It was my fault as I now hold myself responsible. I should have given time to my daughter-in-law first, she said and added that maybe she made a mistake in understanding it.

She said that she learned from her mistakes and on her second son’s marriage she understood and now she can train other people.
