Kriti Sanon breaks silence on wedding rumours

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has finally broke her silence on wedding rumours with UK-based businessman Kabir Bahia.

The rumours started circulating last month when the actress had found her dream guy in Kabir Bahia, 25, with whom she celebrated her 34th birthday in Greece.

The Bollywood superstar revealed that she is frustrated with false and negative information about her published in the media.

“When false negative information is published about me, it’s not just frustrating for myself but also impacts my family. They shouldn’t have to deal with the repercussions of something untrue,” she said in an interview.

She continued that friends message her about such rumours which is incredibly irritating.

Kriti insisted that people don’t bother to verify facts before spreading stories, especially thing circulating on social media.

“In the past, without social media, individuals might have silently formed opinions after reading something in a newspaper. Now, there’s a trend where people derive satisfaction from posting negative comments online.”

She believes, social media have allowed people to expressing their opinions freely.

“It feels like everyone believes they have the right to say whatever they want without filtering their thoughts,” she said.

“The widespread access to social platforms and ample free time contribute to this phenomenon,” Kriti Sanon concluded.
