Bollywood actress Preity Zinta moves court against this person

Famous Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has reached the Chandigarh court against the co-owner of her own IPL team Punjab Kings.

According to Indian media reports, Preity Zinta, the co-owner of the IPL franchise Punjab Kings, has filed a petition in the Chandigarh High Court.

Well-known businessman Mohit Burman owns 48 per cent of the Punjab Kings franchise, Bollywood actress Preity Zinta and Ness Vadia own 23 per cent each while the remaining 6 per cent is owned by a person named Karan Pal.

The Bollywood actress has reportedly filed an application for interim measures under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The petition filed by Preity Zinta in the Chandigarh High Court has fixed the hearing on August 20. Preity said in the petition that Mohit Burman wants to sell his 11.5 per cent shareholding in the company.

After disputes and differences between the co-owners Preity Zinta and Mohit Burman came to light, the court issued notices to the parties and sought their answers.

It should be noted that Mohit Burman owns 48 per cent of the franchise and is also a board member of the Indian Premier League. However, Mohit said that he has no intention of selling his stake in Punjab Kings.
