Why doesn’t Shah Rukh touch his wife’s purse even after years of marriage?

Shah Rukh Khan has said that he has been married for more than three decades but till date he has never looked into his wife’s purse because it is her property.

“I still knock to enter to the bedroom. I also knock on the bedroom door of my daughter, although she knows I am knocking but it is important because it is her room,” the Bollywood star said.

In one of his interviews, Shah Rukh acknowledged the importance and love of his wife and said that his wife is his first priority. If ever I had to choose between my career and Gauri, I would quit films. I would be crazy without my wife, she is the only thing I have that I am attached to and love, he added.

Recalling the early days of marriage, the actor said: “I remember our first night in Mumbai when we (me and Gauri) came to Mumbai after about five to seven days, Gauri was wearing  wedding bangles in a heavy dress that evening. We spent that night in the film city. At that time Hemaji was directing my film.”
