Actress Alia Bhatt reveals ADHD diagnosis
Renowned Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has revealed that she was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and was not able to concentrate and being overactive.
She made the revelation during the promotion of the film “Jagra”, while appearing for an interview to “Lallan Top”.
Alia said that she started feeling as a child that she often gets zoned out in the classroom or during conversations with friends.
“I used to be zoned out since childhood, and that’s why I underwent a psychological test and was diagnosed with ADHD,” she said.
“When I told my friends about this, they said, ‘We already knew, this is nothing new. But for me it was a new revelation,” she added.
The actress recalled the moments of relaxation in her life despite the challenges of ADHD.
Alia said that she feels most comfortable while acting and spending time with his daughter Raha.
“While in front of the camera, I am completely present. And now, spending time with Raha, I am most at peace. These two moments are the most peaceful moments in my life,” she said.
Along with personal revelations, Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her new film “Jagra”. The film is made by director Vasan Bala and narrates the story of a sister who sets out on a difficult journey to save her brother.
