‘I am a son of a lion’: Slain Baba Siddique’s son challenges his father’s killers

Zeeshan Siddiqui, the son of slain National Congress Party leader Baba Siddiqui, has announced the fight is not over yet as he is a son of a lion.
Taking to X, formerly known as twitter, Zeeshan Siddiqui while challenging the killers of his father wrote: “They silenced my father. But they forget – he was a lion – and I carry his roar within me, his fight in my veins.”
He further wrote that his father stood for justice, fought for change and withstood the storms with unwavering courage.
Now, those who brought him down turn their sights on me assuming they’ve won, to the I declare: The blood of a lion runs in my veins. I am still here, unafraid and unbroken, Zeeshan Siddique continued.
The Congress MLA further said that they took one, but he rises in his place. This fight is far from over. “Today I stand where he stood: Alive, relentless and ready, ” he concluded.
