Chunky Panday feels his career faded out when Shah Rukh and Salman Khan entered Bollywood

12 November, 2024 23:50

Bollywood actor Chunky Panday has revealed that the presence of superstars like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgan and Govinda affected his career.

The actor has carved a niche in the Bollywood industry for the past 3 decades thanks to his lively performances, but he believes that the presence of superstars has clouded his career.

Recently, during a conversation with the Indian media, Chunky Panday revealed that ‘he entered Bollywood at a time when the light of stars was shining everywhere. In 1986, actor Govinda entered Bollywood, and a year later in 1987, I made my debut, the next year was Aamir Khan, then the next was Salman Khan and in 1990 Ajay Devgan made his Bollywood debut, he added.

Panday further said that it was a time when many stars entered Bollywood at the same time, but instead of blaming anyone, he takes responsibility for his career.

The actor added: “I was a young blood who always wanted to work and was ready to do any kind of role for money, but if you do that, the career priorities change, there is also luck involved.”
