Won’t be pursuing a career in movies: Jannat Mirza

Renowned TikToker Jannat Mirza has announced that she won’t be pursuing a career in movies but would prefer focus on TikTok.
Jannat Mirza made the revelation during an interview, when asked about whether she aspired to star in a film or would rather continue creating content on TikTok.
She responded by highlighting TikTok’s accessibility in Pakistan.
“TikTok is easily accessible, and I think the new generation prefers scrolling through TikTok videos on their phones while relaxing at home instead of going to the cinema,” she explained.
She emphasised that the platform’s easy access has made it popular among everyone, saying, “People can easily watch me on TikTok.”
Jannat believes, her previous content on TikTok was “cringing”.

“Back then, cringe videos were really popular,” she recalled. “Even I can’t watch my old videos,” Jannat said, adding that although she finds them embarrassing now.
She revealed that the videos are still available on her social media accounts.
