Singer Jawad Ahmed booked in over ‘electricity theft’

Well-known singer Jawad Ahmed got into trouble for allegedly having a bitter conversation with the LESCO staff in the electricity theft dispute.
According to the report, the incident took place at the beauty parlor of singer Jawad Ahmed’s wife in Johar Town, where LESCO staff had arrived to investigate the electricity theft.
The, his associate Adeel and four unidentified persons have been named in the application filed by Lesco at Nawab Town police station.
According to the petition, Jawad Ahmed reached the spot and abused the staff and threatened them. It was further alleged that he tried to ram his vehicle (Vigo) into the crew.
LESCO officials said that the electricity meter of the beauty parlor was tampered with to steal electricity. The power to the parlor has been cut off to prevent illegal supply of electricity.
The police have received the complaint and the investigation is on.
LESCO has provided the evidence of power theft and other details to the higher authorities. No statement has yet been issued by Jawad Ahmed or his spokesperson on this issue.
