Sonu Nigam criticises AR Rahman’s songs

India’s leading singer Sonu Nigam has criticized the songs and music of the film ‘Yuvraaj’ composed by fellow singer AR Rahman.
According to Indian media, in a recent interview, Nigam referred to the song ‘Shanu Shanu’ as a mediocre and not good song and said, ‘Don’t talk about it. I can’t lie and praise a bad song.’
When asked about the other songs in the film, the singer said, “Forget it, all the songs in this film were useless.”

It may be recalled that Yuvraj was a musical romantic family drama film directed and produced by Subhash Ghai, starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, and Zayed Khan.
Although the film failed at the box office, its music was composed by AR Rahman and lyrics were written by Gulzar.
