WATCH: Arijit Singh takes Ed Sheeran on a scooter ride in his hometown

A video of British singer Ed Sheeran riding a motorcycle with singer Arijit Singh is going viral on social media.

British singer Ed Sheeran is currently in India for his ‘Meet Tour’ and recently he also performed two concerts in Bengaluru. However, a special moment of his presence in India was seen when he appeared with singer Arijit Singh in Jiaganj town of Murshidabad district of West Bengal.

In the videos that have gone viral on social media, Arjit Singh can be seen riding a scooter, while Ed Shearan is sitting behind him. He was accompanied by a few friends, who were roaming the streets of the city on their scooters.

These scenes surprised fans and in the comments people were seen praising Arijit’s simplicity.

According to Indian media, Ed Sheeran and Arijit Singh spent about five hours in Jiaganj and later took an hour-long boat ride in the Bhagirathi river. The DIG confirmed that Sheeran had refused to take additional security.

Earlier, Ed Sheeran gave a short performance on Bengaluru’s Church Street, which was stopped midway due to police intervention.
