Why did PTI founder visit police station for Nadia Jamil?

Veteran actress Nadia Jamil has revealed how Imran Khan went to the police station for her while narrating an interesting incident of her life.

The actress revealed that before marriage, she was arrested by the police along with her fiance (who is now her husband), and Imran Khan also reached the police station to rescue them.

According to the actress, this incident happened during the time of Zia-ul-Haq, when the moral police (Shaheen Police) used to catch those roaming around without marriage.

Nadia said that she was out in the car with her fiancé when Shaheen Police stopped them. The police took them to the police station and put them in custody as they could not produce nikahnama. Nadia said they pleaded with the police and offered to pay the fine, but the police did not release her.

The actress said she was allowed to make a call after reaching the police station. She immediately called his father’s friend Yusuf Salahuddin, who was sitting with Imran Khan and other friends at the time. Imran Khan was a close friend of Nadia Jamil’s father. Yusuf Salahuddin told Imran Khan about the incident as soon as he heard the phone, and he immediately reached the police station.

Nadia said that when the policemen saw Imran Khan, they were surprised and immediately ordered tea. She said that with the help of Imran Khan and his friends she and her fiancé were released.
