KARACHI – Atif Khan, the husband of renowned Pakistani actress and model Nadia Hussain, has been taken into custody by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
According to an FIA spokesperson, Khan was apprehended from Karachi’s DHA Phase VI over allegations of his involvement in a massive Rs54 crore financial fraud.
The arrest was made following a formal complaint filed by the group head of a private bank’s securities division. FIA officials revealed that Atif Khan, during his tenure as the CEO of a firm, misused company funds for personal expenditures. Additionally, he is accused of manipulating financial statements and fabricating documents to unlawfully withdraw money from the company’s reserves.
In the wake of his arrest, the FIA secured a two-day remand to further probe the case.
Nadia Hussain Yet to Issue a Statement
Despite the serious allegations against her husband, Nadia Hussain has not yet made any public comment regarding the matter.
The actress and model married Atif Khan in 2003, and the couple shares four children—Shadal, Shanza, Sasha, and Sherdad.
Beyond her successful career in modeling and acting, Nadia Hussain expanded her professional portfolio in 2023 by launching her own beauty venture, “Nadia Hussain Salon and Clinic,” reflecting her dedication as both a mother and an entrepreneur.
