Renowned singer Naseebo Lal tortured by her husband

LAHORE — Shahdara Town Police have registered a case against Naveed Hussain, the husband of renowned folk singer Naseebo Lal, following allegations of physical assault and domestic violence, officials confirmed on Thursday.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) lodged by Lal, the incident occurred at their residence when Hussain allegedly attacked her with a brick in the courtyard. “He picked up a nearby brick and struck my face, causing severe injuries to the left side of my face and nose,” the singer stated in her complaint. Medical reports have documented the injuries, though Lal’s current condition remains undisclosed.

The FIR further reveals that Hussain allegedly initiated a verbal altercation immediately upon arriving home, which escalated into physical violence.
