‘Scooby-Doo’ live-action series confirmed

Popular cartoon Scooby-Doo will come to life, as Netflix announced its live-action series for the first time.
The iconic teenage detectives will come together to solve a mystery in an eight-episode show.
According to the official synopsis, the series will follow Shaggy and Daphne during their final summer at camp, where they encounter a lost Great Dane puppy who may have witnessed a supernatural murder.
Joined by Velma, a scientifically inclined local, and the mysterious new kid Freddy, the group embarks on a haunting adventure that unravels dark secrets.
The streaming platform described the series as a “modern reimagining” of the classic cartoon featuring a talking dog Scooby Doo.
No casting details have been revealed so far. The series will be written by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg under the banner of Midnight Radio.
