Actors Sarah Alexander and Peter Serafinowicz reportedly split up after 23 years of dating. A source confirmed their split, stating, “It’s very sad, but the split is recent.”

Before dating Peter, Sarah had a brief romance with actor Gerald Harper, who was 40 years older than her. Their relationship made news in 2001, when she was 30 and Harper was 70.

Nonetheless, marriage was short-lived, and she parted with him in 2002 to marry Peter. The discreet couple maintained the privacy of their family life and were residing in West London before their recent separation.

Peter recently portrayed Amanda’s (Lucy Punch) boyfriend Johannes, a South African property developer, in BBC’s Amandaland. The program, a derivative of Motherland, is set to come back for a second season.

He rose to fame in 2007 with his BBC comedy series, The Peter Serafinowicz Show. He also voiced characters on animated series including South Park, The Simpsons, Rick and Morty, Archer and Bob’s Burgers.

He played Edgar Covington in Parks and Recreation, shared the screen with Olivia Colman in the BBC Two series Look Around You, and appeared in Doctor Who. In 2016, Peter gained widespread attention for ridiculing Donald Trump by overlaying videos of the future president with a “sassy” voice.

The actor appeared alongside Keanu Reeves in John Wick: Chapter 2 and worked with stars such as Reese Witherspoon and Matthew McConaughey in the Sing movies. The actor has lent their voice to characters in well-known video games, including Dark Souls II and LittleBigPlanet 3.

Sarah Alexander has appeared in various British television shows, such as Jonathan Creek, Green Wing, and Smack the Pony. She portrayed Alice Fletcher in the American series Teachers, which was loosely inspired by the UK version and aired on NBC.

Sarah Alexander has also appeared in her husband’s programs, such as Look Around You and O! News and his namesake comedy program.
