Maroon 5’s Adam Levine has finally addressed the ongoing rumors about the band’s upcoming album release.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Levine, best known for hits like Girls Like You, confirmed the speculation by saying, “I am gonna confirm the rumours are true.” The new album will mark their first since 2021, and Levine shared that the album’s first single is set to drop at the end of April.
While he was open about the album’s release, Levine remained tight-lipped about other specifics. When pressed for details, he teased, “The rumours are correct. There are details. I cannot divulge all the details.”
Levine also shared some exciting news about Maroon 5’s upcoming tour, saying, “I’m really excited about it. Non-specifically around the summertime. And then, even more non-specifically, there is a tour coming in the fall-ish.”
Reflecting on his five-year hiatus from The Voice, Levine explained the reason behind his break: “Doing it for so long, so consistently… you can definitely start to get burnt. I started to feel like I was kind of getting away from things that matter to me the most, like making music and playing music.”
For those unfamiliar, Maroon 5 consists of Adam Levine (main vocalist), lead guitarist James Valentine, bass guitarist Sam Farrar, keyboardist PJ Morton, drummer Matt Flynn, and Jesse Carmichael.
