Veteran comedian Javed Kodu passes away in Lahore

Veteran comedian Javed Kodu has passed away.
According to the family, Javed Kodu was ill for a long time and was undergoing treatment at the General Hospital.
The actor, known for his short height, acted in several films and dramas including stage plays.
His notable Pakistani dramas include Ainkwala Jin and Ashiana.
In an interview last year, Javed Kodu had said that he was suffering from several diseases.
He said that he had brain haemorrhage and he became paralyzed. Besides, I am also suffering from heart disease. I also had an abdominal surgery, he added.
He mentioned about the behavior of his fellow actors and said that nowadays everyone is suffering from financial problems, hoping that his friends will help him, but it seems that they are also in a difficult situation due to inflation.
