Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has returned to the Bollywood industry after nine years with the Bollywood film ‘Abir Gulaal’.

Fawad Khan was last seen in the successful Bollywood film ‘Kapoor and Sons’ released in 2016, after which he was also absent from the Indian industry like other Pakistani actors due to increasing political tensions between the two countries.

Recently, the first song of Fawad Khan’s film ‘Abir Gulaal’ has been released, the title of the romantic song of this film is ‘Khudaiya Ishq’, in which the film’s lead actress Vaani Kapoor can also be seen.

How much was Fawad paid to return to Bollywood?

According to media reports, industry insiders have claimed that Fawad Khan received a fee of 5 to 10 crore Indian rupees for acting in the film ‘Abiar Gulaal’.

On the other hand, Fawad Khan’s remuneration for an episode for Pakistani television dramas is Rs1.5 to 2 million.

Actress Vaani Kapoor’s remuneration for the film Abir Gulaal is said to be around 1.5 crore Indian rupees.

‘Abir Gulaal’ is directed by Aarti S Bagdi and has been shot in the midst of captivating scenes in London while the film will be released in theaters on May 9, 2025.
