Khushboo Patani, the elder sister of Bollywood actress Disha Patani, has captured hearts online with a viral video showing her rescuing an abandoned infant in Bareilly. The video, posted on Sunday, shows Khushboo finding a baby girl alone in a makeshift shelter. As she gently lifted the child, the baby began to cry, prompting Khushboo to comfort her, reassuring her that she would be safe from now on.

At the end of the video, Khushboo addresses the camera, saying: “If you are from Bareilly and this is your child, come forward and explain how such cruelty could occur. Shame on such parents!” She encourages viewers to help identify the child and share her pictures to spread awareness.

In the emotional caption, Disha Patani’s sister wrote: “Jako rakhe saiyan, maar sake na koi” (No one can harm those whom God protects), and tagged local authorities, urging them to ensure the child’s safety and legal protection. She added, “Please save the girl child in our country! Kab tak chalega yeh sab? (How long will this go on?)”

Khushboo, now a fitness coach and counselor, has retired from military service but remains deeply committed to service. Her actions sparked a conversation about child abandonment and parental responsibility. Disha Patani has not publicly commented on the incident, but fans and celebrities, including Bhumi Pednekar, have praised Khushboo for her heroic act.
