According to foreign media reports, John Cena became the 17th world champion by defeating Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night Two.

Cena broke Ric Flair’s record, although Flair won the world championship 21 times in WWE, WCW, and NWA; WWE only recognizes 16.

Ric Flair last won the world title at WCW 2000, and it took 25 years for a wrestler to break his record.
