Motorway Police File FIR Against Ducky Bhai After Dangerous Stunt Video Goes Viral
The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) have filed an FIR against popular YouTuber Saadur Rehman, also known as Ducky Bhai, after a video showed him performing dangerous stunts while driving on the motorway.
The video, which quickly spread online, showed Ducky Bhai allegedly putting his car on autopilot, lying back with his feet on the steering wheel, and appearing to sleep while driving on a busy highway. The stunt was widely criticized, with many social media users calling it “irresponsible and life-threatening.” Following the video, several people filed complaints with the NHMP, asking for legal action against the YouTuber.
In response to the complaints, the NHMP confirmed that they had filed a case against Ducky Bhai for reckless driving, negligence, and overspeeding. A spokesperson for the NHMP said, “The video clearly shows a driver breaking traffic rules and putting both his own life and others’ lives in danger. We are taking this violation seriously and are taking legal action.”
The police also mentioned that they had verified the video and traced its location, and the appropriate sections of the law were being used in the FIR. To raise awareness, the NHMP released a video message on social media, warning people about the dangers of such stunts and advising against copying them.
This incident brings attention to the ongoing issue of influencers creating dangerous content to get more views. Experts have warned that such videos can influence younger audiences who might try to copy the stunts without understanding the serious risks.
Legal experts say that under Pakistan’s traffic and criminal laws, such actions can lead to fines, suspension of driving licenses, or even jail time if they endanger lives.
As of now, Ducky Bhai has not commented on the FIR or the backlash. The NHMP has urged people to report any similar violations through their helpline or social media channels, stressing their commitment to road safety.
The NHMP reminded everyone, “No one is above the law. Popularity doesn’t give anyone the right to break traffic rules or endanger lives.”
