How Much Fawad Khan Was Paid for Abir Gulaal? Find Out

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who was set to mark his comeback to Bollywood with Abir Gulaal, is said to have charged a hectic amount for his role in the film.

Reportedly, Fawad Khan earned between INR 5 to INR 10 crores for his return to Bollywood in the upcoming film Abir Gulaal, where he stars opposite Vaani Kapoor, according to Siasat. In contrast, Vaani Kapoor has reportedly been paid INR 1.5 crores for her role in the film.

However, the movie’s release now faces uncertainty following a tragic incident that occurred in Pahalgam on April 22. According to The Tribune, sources within India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting have suggested that Abir Gulaal might not see a theatrical release across the country.

Adding to the complications, two songs from the film—“Khudaya Ishq” and “Angreji Rangrasiya”—have been removed from YouTube India. Both tracks were originally uploaded on the production house’s official YouTube channel as well as Saregama’s channel, which holds the music rights. As of now, they are no longer accessible to Indian viewers.

A third song, “Tain Tain,” was scheduled to drop on Wednesday, but its release has been delayed without any official explanation from the production team.
