‘The Family Man’ Actor Found Dead, Cause of Death Revealed

Rohit Basfore, a rising Indian actor who was set to appear in the upcoming third season of popular series The Family Man, has tragically passed away. The body of the actor was discovered at the Garbhanga waterfall near Guwahati, Assam, on Sunday afternoon.

The 25-year-old was not only an emerging actor but also a skilled martial artist and gymnastics coach, well-known in his hometown of Guwahati. Basfore had recently wrapped up filming for his role in The Family Man Season 3, marking a significant milestone in his career.

According to regional reports, ‘The Family Man’ actor had gone on a picnic with nine colleagues when the unfortunate incident occurred. Around 4 p.m., local authorities were alerted that he had slipped and fallen into the waterfall.

“We received information about a drowning accident in Jalukpham waterfall, Rani,” said an official from the fire and emergency services. “Our team immediately reached the spot and began search and rescue operations with deep divers. After searching the area, the victim was recovered and the body was handed over to the Rani police station.”

Police from Assam’s Kamrup district have confirmed that the cause of death was drowning. “We will wait for the post-mortem report for further details in the investigation,” a police official stated.

Basfore’s sudden death has left his local community and the entertainment industry in shock, just as he was beginning to make his mark in the world of television.
