South Korean YouTuber Kim Daud Expresses Support for Pakistan Following Rising Tensions with India

07 May, 2025 15:18

Popular South Korean YouTuber and convert to Islam, Kim Daud, has publicly expressed his support for Pakistan following the recent escalation in tensions with India.

Daud posted a heartfelt video montage on Instagram, highlighting the serene beauty and warm hospitality he experienced during his visit to Pakistan. The video showcased scenic landscapes and memorable moments from his trip.

In the accompanying caption, Kim Daud addressed critics who had advised him against visiting Pakistan due to perceived security risks. “This video is my clear response to those who claimed Pakistan isn’t safe,” he wrote. He also reaffirmed his admiration for the country, saying, “I will always pray for Pakistan’s peace and safety.”

His message of solidarity comes in the wake of unprovoked Indian military strikes on Pakistani territory, including attacks in Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Bagh in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, as well as Muridke and Ahmedpur Sharqia in Punjab. These attacks tragically resulted in 26 civilian deaths and 43 injuries.

In a strong retaliation, Pakistan’s armed forces launched a swift counteroffensive, downing five Indian aircraft and drones, and destroying key Indian military positions, including an infantry brigade headquarters and multiple command posts.

As the Pakistani response intensified, Indian troops were reportedly seen waving white flags at the Line of Control (LoC)—a symbolic gesture interpreted by many as a sign of retreat and defeat.
