Hira Mani Claps Back at Kangana Ranaut for anti-Pakistan remarks

10 May, 2025 13:22

Pakistani actress Hira Mani took to Instagram to call out Indian actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, following her controversial remarks against Pakistan.

In a sharp and humorous post, Hira responded by sharing a screenshot of Kangana’s comments and added her own biting caption. Referring to Kangana’s well-known feud with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, Hira wrote, “Hrithik already sent you flying once,” mocking Kangana’s history of controversial statements and turbulent media presence.

She added, “Don’t hold back on drama now, our army has already given a befitting reply,” standing in full support of Pakistan’s military response.

Military Escalation Sparks Online Firestorm

This war of words comes amid serious military escalation between India and Pakistan. In the overnight hours between May 6 and 7, Indian forces reportedly launched covert air raids on civilian areas in Azad Kashmir, including Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Muridke, and Ahmadpur Sharqia. The attacks tragically claimed the lives of at least 31 Pakistanis, including two children, and injured over 50. Two mosques were also destroyed.

Pakistan’s Retaliation: Operation Bunyan Marsoos

Pakistan launched a powerful counteroffensive on the morning of May 10, dubbed Operation Bunyan Marsoos (Iron Wall). The Pakistani military targeted strategic Indian sites, including:

  • Udhampur and Pathankot airbases

  • A BrahMos missile depot

  • The G-Top brigade command center

In addition to aerial strikes, Pakistani cyber units disabled around 70% of India’s power grid and disrupted several major Indian government and military websites.

Pakistan also claims to have shot down:

  • Three Rafale fighter jets

  • One MiG-29

  • One Su-30

  • One combat drone

Public Reaction: Hira Mani Applauded

Hira Mani’s bold stance gained wide support on social media, with many Pakistani users praising her for “speaking the nation’s truth” and backing the country’s armed forces during a critical time. Her name quickly began trending across platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.
