Popular digital creator and social media influencer Areeka Haq has opened up about her battle with depression, revealing how actress Saba Qamar offered crucial support during a difficult period in her life.

Areeka shared the emotional impact of online bullying she endured after featuring in a music video alongside Asim Azhar and Young Stunners.

“I wasn’t even 18 when the video came out, and the backlash was heartbreaking,” she said. “People questioned why I was in the video, asking things like, ‘Why was she chosen?’ That hate really affected me mentally and led to depression.”

While her family supported her, Areeka highlighted the unexpected yet significant help she received from well-known Pakistani actress Saba Qamar.

“Saba Qamar got my number from Asim Azhar and called me personally,” Areeka recalled. “She wanted to talk, gave me advice, and helped calm me down. Her words made such a difference that I didn’t even feel the need to go to therapy.”
