TikToker Sana Yousaf’s Father Yousuf Hassan Appeals for Justice After Daughter’s Murder in Islamabad

The father of murdered TikToker Sana Yousaf, Yousuf Hassan has come forward with a heartfelt video appeal, asking the government of Pakistan for justice for his daughter’s brutal killing.

Sana Yousaf, a young TikTok content creator, was tragically killed at her residence in Islamabad’s G-13 sector by Umar Hayat, a 22-year-old TikToker from Faisalabad, also known online as “Kaka.” According to police reports, the accused had been persistently pursuing Sana for friendship, which she consistently declined. Enraged by her rejections, Umar allegedly murdered her on the evening of June 2.

A First Information Report (FIR) was filed by Sana’s mother shortly after the incident, leading to a swift arrest by Islamabad Police.

Now, Sana’s grieving father, a government employee, has spoken out in a video message shared widely on social media. In his statement, he said: “I am a government employee. I request the government to investigate this tragic incident that has happened to my family. Anyone involved should be brought to justice.”

He further emphasized that he has no personal enmity with anyone and demanded a transparent investigation.

“I have no feud with anyone. I just want a fair investigation and justice for my daughter.”

Ending his message with a plea to authorities, he said: “The government has access to the accused. I appeal to the authorities—please give me justice.”

The case has sparked public outrage, with many on social media demanding strict action against the killer. Advocacy for women’s safety and criticism of social media harassment are again under the spotlight as the investigation continues.
