Veteran Actress Asma Abbas Suffers Severe Allergic Reaction to Her Face
Veteran Pakistani actress Asma Abbas, known and loved for her powerful performances in dramas like Ranjha Ranjha Kardi and Chaudhary & Sons, recently shared a personal health update with her fans.
Asma, who is also active as a content creator, had been noticeably absent from her YouTube channel. She has now revealed the reason behind her silence—an ongoing skin condition.
According to Asma, she has been dealing with an increasing number of freckles on her face, a hereditary trait that runs in her family. Both her father and her sister had them, and the condition has worsened in her case, especially after undergoing chemotherapy, which, she explained, accelerates the appearance of such spots.
On medical advice, Asma opted to get her freckles cauterized, the only effective way to remove them. The actress admitted she had been relying heavily on foundation whenever she went out and felt it was time to address the issue more permanently.
However, following the procedure, Asma suffered a setback. While relaxing at home with her daughter and daughter-in-law, she applied a face mask that triggered a severe allergic reaction. The result was a painful red rash across her face.
Currently on medication, Asma is following her doctor’s advice to give the skin time to heal. She’s staying positive and assured her fans that her face will return to normal soon with continued treatment.
Asma Abbas also shared a recent glimpse of her condition to keep her fans informed and raise awareness about the challenges of post-procedure skin care.
