Shefali Jariwala, the well-known Bollywood actress who rose to fame with the hit song Kanta Laga, has tragically passed away at the age of 42. The cause of death of Shefali Jariwala is a suspected cardiac arrest.

The actress was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai late last night, where she was declared dead upon arrival. While the exact cause of her sudden death remains unconfirmed, her body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

Shefali, who was a contestant on Bigg Boss 13, was accompanied by her husband Paras Tyagi and three others to the hospital. A photo circulating on social media shows Tyagi visibly shocked and heartbroken as he sat in a car outside the hospital.

With a following of 3.3 million on Instagram, Shefali enjoyed immense popularity. Apart from her iconic appearance in the Kanta Laga remix, she was also seen in the film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi alongside Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. She further showcased her talent on the dance reality show Nach Baliye.

Known for her bold and confident persona, Shefali had made a distinct mark in the entertainment industry. Her husband, Paras Tyagi, is also a prominent actor, recognized for his roles in Jodhaa Akbar and Pavitra Rishta.
