American Woman Arrives in Pakistan for Her Online Lover

Another story of cross-border romance has emerged from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where a young American woman has arrived in Pakistan to meet her partner in Upper Dir, drawing significant attention on social media.

According to local sources, the woman formed a friendship with Sajid Zaib, a resident of Siddiqah Banda in the Ashirey Dara area of Upper Dir, through Facebook several years ago. Over time, their online connection deepened into a romantic relationship.

The woman has arrived in Pakistan but has not yet reached Upper Dir. She is expected to make the journey to the region soon. Family sources have confirmed that the couple plans to marry, and discussions between both families are currently underway to formalize the marriage.

Photos of the couple have gone viral on social media, generating widespread public interest and a flood of comments online.

This is not the first such incident in Dir. In an earlier case, an Indian woman left her family to travel to Dir and meet a Pakistani man she had connected with on Facebook.
