Mehwish Hayat Criticizes Fellow Actors for Mocking Sahir Lodhi’s Videos

Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has voiced her disapproval on social media regarding viral videos in which fellow actors are seen imitating host and actor Sahir Lodhi.

Currently, several of Sahir Lodhi’s videos — originally posted on his Instagram — are circulating online. These clips are styled similarly to Indian paparazzi videos, giving the impression that Sahir is unaware of being filmed, even though the cameraman is part of his own team, and the videos are shared through his official account.

While social media users have reacted to the clips with humorous comments, a number of actors — including Yasir Nawaz, Faisal Quraishi, and Aijaz Aslam — have also joined in, creating parody videos mimicking Sahir’s style.

The trend began with Yasir Nawaz, after which other artists followed suit with their own versions.

In response, Mehwish Hayat shared her thoughts on Instagram, expressing her dislike for the videos and the mockery surrounding them.

She stated that Sahir Lodhi has earned a unique place in the entertainment industry and has managed to maintain that position — something that deserves respect and is not easy to achieve.

Mehwish emphasized that while one may not appreciate someone’s style, basic respect must always be upheld. She urged everyone to remain kind and behave with decency.

She further added that mocking someone is completely inappropriate and unfair, reminding people that Sahir is also a human being with feelings and emotions like everyone else.
