Kelley Mack, born Kelley Klebenow in Cincinnati, Ohio, was remembered by her loved ones in an emotional Instagram post shared on Tuesday, August 5. The post featured her portrait and a heartfelt message: “It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley. Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go.”

A Bright Career in Acting and Voice Work

Mack earned public attention through her role on the AMC series The Walking Dead, which aired from 2010 to 2022. Over her career, she had 35 acting credits and worked as a producer on five projects.

In addition to her TV work, she starred in commercials for Dr. Pepper, Ross, Dairy Queen, and Chick-fil-A. At the time of her passing, Kelley appeared in a Rakuten ad alongside her mother, Kristen Klebenow.

She also worked as a voice actor, including doing voice-matching for Hailee Steinfeld’s Gwen Stacy in the Oscar-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
