Sadia Imam Takes a Jab at Humayun, Faysal, and Aijaz for Playing Hero Roles

Over her career, she has worked as an actress, director, and host. While she has stepped back from dramas, she frequently appears on television shows. Recently, she was a guest on Hina Niazi’s show, where she discussed how actors of her generation are still often cast as heroes.

Throughout her career, Sadia Imam has worked alongside major stars such as Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Faysal Quraishi, and Aijaz Aslam. During the discussion, she shared her thoughts on these actors continuing to play hero roles. She mentioned that she finds it amusing when they portray very young characters, but appreciates it when they take on age-appropriate roles while still playing a hero.

Imam specifically praised Faysal Quraishi and Aijaz Aslam for their performances. She added that it is enjoyable to watch when actors take on roles that suit their age, such as in projects like Manto. She also noted that Humayun Saeed recently played an age-appropriate character in his film Love Guru, which she felt worked well.
