Syeda Aliza Sultan, a well-known influencer and the ex-wife of actor Feroze Khan, has once again voiced her concerns over his approach to parenting. The couple, who maintained a very private marriage, made headlines when their divorce proceedings became public. They share custody of their two children, but ongoing allegations and disputes from both sides have strained their relationship, making co-parenting a challenging and often tense experience.
Syeda has frequently spoken about the difficulties of being a single mother. Despite rarely naming Feroze directly, she has expressed how the full responsibility of raising their children largely falls on her. While Feroze is occasionally seen spending time with their kids, taking them out to restaurants, Syeda feels the burden remains heavily on her shoulders.
In a recent video recorded while driving, Syeda addressed the societal expectations placed on mothers. She questioned, “why our society feels that everything is a mother’s responsibility only?” She highlighted how tasks like school pickups, drop-offs, and financial support often fall entirely on women today. “This is hard and this is wrong to just put everything on a woman’s shoulders,” she said, emphasizing that this has been a recurring challenge for her.
Syeda also noted, “It is may be a woman’s fault as she takes on all these responsibilities but society is also at fault!” Her comments reflect the broader issues many single mothers face in balancing parental duties amid societal pressures.
