Bigg Boss 19 Controversy: Farhana Bhatt’s Family Sends ₹1 Crore Legal Notice to Roshan Giri Bhinder Over “Terrorist” Remark
The ongoing Bigg Boss 19 controversy has taken a legal turn. Contestant Farhana Bhatt’s family has sent a ₹1 crore legal notice to Roshan Giri Bhinder, the aunt of singer Amaal Malik, after she allegedly called Farhana a “terrorist” during a YouTube interview.
According to Indian media reports, the family also issued notices to YouTube India and the Fee Fafooz channel, claiming that the interview severely damaged Farhana Bhatt’s reputation. Her lawyer stated that the family opted for a legal route rather than responding publicly online.
The notice demands the removal of the video, a public apology, and ₹1 crore in compensation for defamation. Copies of the legal notice were also sent to the National Commission for Women and the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission.
Bigg Boss 19 Updates
Bigg Boss 19 began on August 24 with 18 contestants. So far, seven participants have been evicted, and one exited voluntarily. Farhana Bhatt was voted out on the first day but later re-entered the house through a secret room twist.
Sources say that if Roshan Giri Bhinder refuses to apologize, Farhana Bhatt’s family may proceed with filing a defamation case in court. This legal development adds another layer of drama to the ongoing Bigg Boss 19 season involving Amaal Malik and Farhana Bhatt.
