Sonakshi Sinha’s cousin, Pooja Ruparel, has addressed longstanding rumours surrounding the family following the actress’s interfaith marriage to Zaheer Iqbal.

Ruparel, widely recognized for her role as Chhutki in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, spoke about her close bond with Sonakshi in an exclusive interview with Siddharth Kannan. She responded to speculation that Luv and Kussh Sinha had skipped Sonakshi’s wedding, stating, “I am not here to give gossip. I have met Zaheer, and he’s one of the funniest men I’ve ever met. I love him! I don’t understand how people are so jobless that they discuss such things. Luv and Sonakshi have worked together in a full-fledged film, Nikita Roy.”

Offering insight into their family relationship, she added, “If they were on bad terms, would they have done that? The whole family appeared together on The Great Indian Kapil Show. People just love to gossip.”

Pooja also emphasized her prioritization of family over work, noting that she has never mixed professional matters with her relationship with Sonakshi, despite her own extensive experience in the film industry.
