Priyanka Chopra Returns to Indian Cinema with Film ‘GlobeTrotter’

Hyderabad: Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is all set to make her comeback to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film, tentatively titled “GlobeTrotter” or “SSMB 29.”

The pan-Indian film, originally being shot in Telugu, features Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles alongside Priyanka. The movie’s first poster will be unveiled at a grand event on November 15 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, and the event will be live-streamed on JioHotstar.

The film’s makers have already revealed two key characters — Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist KUMBHA, and Priyanka Chopra as Mandakini.

Ahead of her first look reveal, Priyanka held a Q&A session on X (formerly Twitter), where she interacted with fans about her experience working on the movie.

When asked about speaking Telugu, the actress replied:

“It’s obviously not my first language but @ssrajamouli sir has been so helpful. I will be able to deliver my Telugu lines and live up to your expectations.”

When another fan asked if she would speak Telugu at the event, Priyanka smiled and wrote:

“I’m still learning Telugu. Please forgive my mistakes — maybe I’ll try a mix!”

When a fan requested her to describe the film using only emojis, the “Fashion” actress replied with a lion face, dancing girl, flexed bicep, and ninja, hinting at an action-packed, entertaining adventure.
