Shraddha Kapoor Injured During Film Shoot

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor sustained an injury while shooting for an upcoming project, according to Indian media reports.

The incident occurred during the filming of an extended dance sequence, where Shraddha accidentally fractured her toe. The actress was performing the routine dressed in a traditional Nauvari saree paired with cultural jewellery. During the choreography, she mistakenly shifted her full weight onto one foot, losing balance and injuring herself.

The film’s director, Laxman Utekar, immediately halted the shoot. Despite her injury, Shraddha insisted that the unit should continue working. After returning to Mumbai, she even completed close-up and emotional scenes at the Madh Island set.

However, a few hours later, Shraddha’s pain intensified, forcing the production team to stop filming entirely. Indian media outlets report that attempts to contact the director for an official comment have been unsuccessful so far.

Shraddha Kapoor’s dedication to finishing her scenes despite her injury has drawn admiration from fans and colleagues, as the film unit now awaits her full recovery.
