Ranveer Singh’s latest film, ‘Dhurandhar’, continues to garner acclaim and achieve remarkable success at the box office. The actor took to Instagram to share his reaction to the film’s overwhelming performance with a cryptic post that has sparked conversation among fans and the media.
The 40-year-old star posted a mysterious message on Instagram on Monday, during a period when social media discussions were dominated by claims that Akshaye Khanna, who plays the antagonist in the film, has managed to steal the spotlight from the lead role.

Set against a plain black background, the Hindi quote read, “Kismat ki ek bohot khoobsurat aadat hai, ki woh waqt aane par badalti hai… Lekin filhal… Nazar aur sabr (Destiny has a very beautiful habit of changing when the time is right… but for now… focus and patience).”
Ranveer concluded the post with folded-hands emojis, adding a serene, almost prayer-like tone to his message.
Meanwhile, the spy thriller has not only captured social media attention but has also broken numerous box office records. According to trade website Sacnilk, after a 10-day run, ‘Dhurandhar’ has earned an impressive Rs 353.18 crore nett in India.
Ranveer Singh’s career prior to this release had experienced a mix of highs and lows. He was last seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ (2023) alongside Alia Bhatt, directed by Karan Johar, which performed well and reinforced his mass appeal.
Before that, he starred in ‘Cirkus’ (2022), a Rohit Shetty comedy-drama that failed to connect with audiences and critics alike, highlighting the unpredictable nature of box office outcomes in his career.
With ‘Dhurandhar’ now setting new benchmarks, Ranveer Singh has once again proven his ability to deliver a blockbuster that resonates with both audiences and critics.
