Dhurandhar Performances: Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, continues to be highly praised, with Suriya Sivakumar recently expressing his admiration for the filmmaker’s work in a heartfelt post.

The 50-year-old actor, who rose to fame for his versatile role in the 2001 film Nandha, couldn’t hide his appreciation for the new blockbuster. The Ghajini star shared his thoughts on social media on Saturday, January 3, expressing his excitement about the film’s success.

In his post, Suriya wrote:

This praise comes as Dhurandhar continues to break records during its theatrical run. Since its release on Friday, December 5, 2025, the film has grossed nearly ₹759.5 crore net in India by its 30th day.

Dhurandhar, starring Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and others, revolves around the story of a spy, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, and his involvement in a secret mission called Project Dhurandhar.

For those who are unaware, the makers of the film are already planning a sequel, Dhurandhar 2, which is slated for release on Thursday, March 19.

As Dhurandhar continues to achieve great success, the filmmakers are eagerly anticipating the release of the sequel.

On the professional front, Suriya is all set to appear in the fantasy action film Karuppu and is also preparing for his upcoming projects, Suriya46 and Suriya47.
