Mahhi Vij, Jay Bhanushali Separated with Peace

Popular TV stars Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, after 16 years of marriage, have officially announced their separation. They shared a joint statement on social media on Sunday, January 4, emphasizing respect, peace, and prioritizing their children.

In their Instagram post, they wrote, “Today, we choose to part ways on a journey called life, yet we continue to have each other’s back. Peace, growth, kindness, and humanity have always been our guiding values.”

The actors added, “For the sake of our children, Tara, Khushi, and Rajveer, we commit to being the best parents. Before any conclusions are drawn, please know that we choose peace over drama and sanity above all else.”

Jay concluded the post by asking for fans understanding and support, “We continue to respect one another, support one another, and remain friends, as we always have been. With mutual respect, we ask for your love, kindness, and understanding as we move forward.”

Jay and Mahhi first met at a club, and in 2010, they tied the knot. They are the adoptive parents of Rajveer and Khushi, and in 2019, through IVF, they welcomed their daughter Tara.

Rumors of their marriage troubles had been circulating since 2025, but no official statement had been issued. Mahhi had previously stated that no conclusions should be drawn unless confirmed by her or Jay.
