Sudha Chandran Faces Online Trolls Over Viral Video

Indian actor Sudha Chandran is currently in the spotlight on social media after a viral video from a religious jagran drew widespread attention. In the devotional event, she was seen fully immersed, uncontrollably crying, laughing, and entering a trance-like state. At one point, she was also seen biting while a woman held her tightly.

Following the video going viral, Sudha faced trolling from social media users. She responded by saying that she did not need to explain herself, emphasizing that devotion is a personal matter and that she does not judge others for how they express their faith.

Speaking about the online reaction, Sudha said, “I am not here to justify myself. I have my own way of looking at life. I have certain connections that I respect. Mujhe logon se koi lena dena nahi hai. Jo troll karte hain, acchi baat hai, khush rahe apne zindagi mein. What about those millions of people who could connect and resonate with it? Mere liye woh important hai.”

Sudha Chandran is a popular face on Indian television and is also an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer. She has worked in several Hindi and regional films and gained fame for her role as Ramola Sikand in Kaahin Kissi Roz. She has also played iconic characters in Naagin, Yeh Hain Mohabbatein, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and Mata Ki Chowki.
