Bollywood box office faces a major clash between Toxic and Dhurandhar 2, as both films are set to release on the same date, March 19, 2026.Toxic and Dhurandhar 2, both packed with action and drama and featuring thrilling storylines, are expected to become two of the biggest films in the industry.

The clash buzz began on Thursday after the Toxic trailer was released and the announcement was made on the occasion of Yash’s film A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.

Dhurandhar 2 vs Toxic: Social Media Favors One Film

Online discussions are heating up as audiences weigh in on the rivalry between Dhurandhar 2 and Yash’s upcoming film Toxic. A large number of viewers believe Ranveer Singh’s sequel is poised to outperform Toxic, especially after the latter’s teaser failed to leave a strong impression.

Several social media users were quick to share their opinions. One comment read, “Dhurandhar 2 is going to dominate Toxic completely.” Another questioned the teaser’s execution, saying, “The Toxic teaser was confusing, and many scenes felt AI-made. Dhurandhar 2 clearly has the edge.”

Others echoed similar sentiments, with one user claiming the teaser itself secured Dhurandhar 2’s victory, while another bluntly stated that the sequel would overpower its competition.

Directed by Geethu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups features Yash in the lead role, supported by an ensemble cast that includes Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair. Marking Yash’s 19th outing as a lead actor, the film showcases him in a striking gangster persona and is slated for a theatrical release on March 19.

On the other hand, Dhurandhar continues its strong run at the box office, shattering records and maintaining impressive momentum. Riding on this success, anticipation for Dhurandhar 2 is at an all-time high as it prepares to clash with Toxic. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the sequel will delve into Hamza’s origin story and chart his complete dominance over Lyari after the death of Akshaye Khanna’s Rehman Dakait in the first installment. The film will also bring back key cast members, including Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan.
