Reason Why Nick Jonas Stepped Out at 2026 Golden Globes

At the 2026 Golden Globes, Nick and his wife Priyanka Chopra looked stunning together. So why did Nick step out from the awards event? He shared the real reason behind walking out of the ceremony on January 11.

The clip went viral on social media. In response, the Jonas Brothers singer reposted it on X, and a fan account suggested that “social anxiety got the best of him.”

Nick replied to the fan, saying, “Yeah…it hit me like a gut punch.”

Although a musician, Nick is also a diabetic patient with type 1 diabetes. Earlier, he told people that “the mental and emotional health aspect of diabetes is really important.”

“I certainly speak to my therapist… and luckily, I’ve got a really good support system around me and a great set of doctors,” he remarked.

Adding further, Nick said, “What needs awareness is the mental and emotional impacts that it has not only on the individual affected by the disease, but also on the friends, family, and loved ones.”
