Kianna Underwood, the former child star best remembered for her appearance on Nickelodeon’s iconic sketch comedy series All That, has tragically passed away. The 33-year-old actress died in the early hours of Friday, January 16, 2026, after being struck in a hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn. As news of her death spread, attention has turned to one of the last known videos of Underwood, now circulating online and deeply unsettling viewers.
The resurfaced footage, believed to have been recorded in New York City around 2021, shows Underwood walking alone late at night. Dressed casually in a teal floral T-shirt, tie-dye pyjama shorts, and purple slides, she is seen carrying a visibly worn black bag. In the grainy clip, a man recognises her and begins recording. When asked to identify herself, Underwood responds, “Kianna Underwood from All That on Nickelodeon.”
When questioned about her current work, she appears confused and repeats, “The show I am on is All That on Nickelodeon.” Her speech trails off as she adjusts her hair, seemingly disoriented. A woman’s voice is heard off-camera referencing her voice role as ‘Fuchsia’ in Little Bill. When asked if she is in New York, Underwood replies, “Yes, of course,” before walking away.
The video has sparked concern online, with many noting her dishevelled appearance and the absence of at least one tooth. Several social media users and local residents have since revisited older claims suggesting Underwood struggled in the years following her early fame. One post from 2022 stated:
“Last year in Summer/Fall 2021 there were comments surfacing of people seeing her in New York and rumours speculating that she has turned to street fighting people and is struggling. People that knew her said that she is no longer the same person and the personality switched.”
On January 16, 2026, at approximately 6:50 a.m. ET, Underwood was struck by a grey sedan while crossing Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighbourhood. Authorities reported that the vehicle dragged her nearly two blocks before fleeing the scene. She suffered fatal head and torso injuries and was pronounced dead at the location. The driver “did not remain on scene,” according to officials.
Born on November 28, 1992, Kianna Underwood began acting at the age of seven and rose to prominence in the early 2000s. She appeared in seven episodes of the tenth and final season of All That in 2005 and also lent her voice to the animated series Little Bill. Her sudden death has left fans mourning both her legacy and the unanswered questions surrounding her later life.
